Mike - 2/20/06   During the last Olympics, I got just a little irate, due to the lack of interest by our 'best' NBA players!  Actually, they weren't interested because it didn't pay them to participate! Well, I am a huge Laker's fan and I decided that if Shaq and Kobie couldn't play, then I wasn't going to 'support' them by watching their games or any other NBA games until they changed their attitudes! I have gone without watching them or reading about them to this point and it won't be any trouble to finish my promise! I can't believe that Americans can so easily dismiss their lack of participation in the Olympics and continue to support those money hungry @$#$! Does anyone remember how embarrassing it was to watch our athletes get waxed' by the NBA players from other countries? Well, I will never forget it and I won't let the NBA players forget it either.  If all of you would join in this boycott, they would get the message in a hurry when their pay would go 'South'!   Mike is apparently a disillusioned Laker fan - longing for the days of Magic and Kareem . . .you know, when players knew who was buttering their bread?
