This is a perfect example of why there are too many bowl games. Two teams, both alike in dignity and stature . . .or perhaps a lack thereof. A couple of mid-majors with mediocre records and the biggest win each team has is against some other mid-majors who have mediocre records. We could throw out a bunch of stats for you on this one, but really, neither one is really close to what one would refer to as impressive in any category.
