The rain from yesterday has turned to a full-tilt snow storm this morning.  Got to the gym 15 minutes later than normal.  Had a 35 minute total workout between the treadmill and circuit weight training.

END OF WEEK 6 WEIGH-IN!!!  Down to 279! - That means I lost 2 lbs this week for a total of 10 pounds since December 1st!! 

(9:20 AM) Forgot to enter the workout number earlier - now they're in.

(lunch) Not a great lunch nutritionally speaking - check the 1PM stuff - went to the Chinese buffet a couple of blocks from work.  Didn't eat a ton of anything, just overall at a bit too much (860 calories for lunch and 117 grams of fat). 

After work I had a sandwich before going to to my show.

Lots of snow on the ground out there.  Not insanely high, but about 4 or 5 inches. 

Going to swim this afternoon at the local rec center indoor pool.

(afternoon) - Didn't get to spend as much time in the pool as I would've liked.  It's was "open swim" so there were a lot of people there just playing so it was kind of hard to get a good rhythm going for lap-swimming.

Got to sleep in all they way to 6:30 this morning . . .woo-hoo!  Have one performance left in this show-run this afternoon.  Going to try to find someplace to swim tomorrow (rec center is closed for MLK Day). 

(1PM) - Went out to run errands - grabbed a plain hot dog at Steak & Shake (which they call a "Streak Frank") and brought it home.  Put a couple of tablespoons of Wolf Brand chili no bean and shredded cheese on it.  Sodium is already too high for the day.  Will have to watch what else I eat with that stuff.

(Evening) - Finished up the run of my show - stopped on the way home and grabbed a smoothie from Liquid Planet.  My wife made braised short ribs for dinner - great stuff.

Up at 4:15 this morning.  Rain is coming down steadily and it's close to 50 degrees outside . . .HUH?????  This is Cleveland in mid-January????

But I digress.  I went to the gym and got in 65 minutes of cardio on the treadmill.  Going to head back this evening and get a 30/30 treadmill/bike brick in and 15 minutes of circuit training (possibly more depending on how I feel). 

Went to the rec center with my wife after work.  While she took an aquasize class I swam laps.  It's family excercise night!

The one "bad" thing I ate today - 2PM - Cherry Cake Donut - It was bad . . .but soooooo good.

For dinner - you'll note I put tuna, mayo and the crackers all on one line - I had three servings of each (1 can of tuna, 3 TBSP of mayo and 15 ritz crackers) so I just combined  them on the same line.

Didn't make it to the gym this morning.  Got up at 5 AM and put in a load of laundry.  I'll get to the gym during lunch and get in some weight training.

Thinking about the donut yesterday and the "need to eat something bad/sweet/good."  It's a mindset I've been trying to fight and one thing that has worked for me that I didn't use yesterday was this:  Before eating whatever it is that I know is "bad" for me, take a second and think - "How am I going to feel AFTER I eat this."  If any of those answers include, sluggish, guilty, hyper or the like, take a step back and go have a big glass of water. 

Went to the bym at lunch and got in 30 minutes of circuit training. 

Went to see "Ten Chimney's" at the Cleveland Playhouse after work with a friend.  It was a solid production.

Thursday morning - recovery day.  Need to let the body recover from a few days of working out. 

Very cold and blustery day today - high was only 25.  Took us close to 3 hours to get home from work.  Traffic was wretched.  Still took the time to make dinner instead of just grabbing something quick.
